Facilities of Gini Winery
THE WINE ORGANIZATION
The winery is located in Megara, Attica, 200 meters from the Pachi-Megara junction of the Athens-Corinth road. The central location of the winery as it is less than 1.5 hours away from important wine-growing areas such as Attica, Boeotia, Achaia and Corinthia favours the selection of raw material of excellent quality and minimal stress during transportation. The production capacity of the plant exceeds 3000 tonnes per year and the most modern equipment is used.
The production area houses a macerator, pneumatic presses, stainless steel tanks for white and red vinification, stabilization tanks and all the necessary clarification filters. The refrigeration units guarantee the maintenance of ideal wine temperatures throughout the year.
In the bottling area there is a state-of-the-art bottling line and the highest standards of hygiene and safety are followed.
THE RESERVES
Growing needs and continuous improvement have led to the creation of new facilities less than a kilometre from the winery, with stainless steel tanks with a capacity of 1650 tonnes. The guarded area of the new facilities is also a parking area for the company's own fleet of vehicles that can meet any possible transport needs.
